Memorial Books

Flowers die.  The services/masses are said.  What is left behind?  Memories.  But, memories fade...

When Memorial Books are purchased, memories last longer.  Every time the book cover is opened someone is remembered.

Please contact Gale Adkins (412-828-9520 x 13) for more information.

Gift Books

Have you racked your brain for the perfect gift?  Have you roamed through the mall looking for a gift?  What do you get for the person who has everything?

Well, we have the solution.  Through Gift Books, the Library benefits from your generosity and no one ends up with another sweater.

How does it work?  You contact Gale Adkins (412 828-9520 x 13) about your donation.  We can either select a book for the collection based on our needs or choose one based on the Honoree's tastes.  It's that easy.

Donations to Lauri Ann West Memorial Library

Did you grow up coming to the Library?  Was our building your grade school?  Did the Library have an impact on who you are today?  Did or does it impact your children's lives?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider making a contribution to the Library.  Without the financial backing from our community, we would not be able to provide or expand the services you've come to expect.

We need your help.  Every penny can be spent purchasing new technologies, providing free programs to the public, and developing our collections.

Thank you for helping us serve the community.

Please contact the Library (412 828-9520 x 13) for more information.

Donations to Boyd Community Center

Boyd Community Center serves as a local resource offering a pleasant atmosphere where adults and children meet, interact and learn in positive ways.  Our programs have been developed in response to the educational and cultural needs of the community.  Without the financial backing from our community, we would not be able to provide or expand the services you've come to expect.

An annual membership entitles you to a tax deduction, discounts on all Boyd-sponsored programs, newsletters and program guides loaded with advance notice of programs and activities, the opportunity to rent space for private parties or meetings, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting your local Community Center.  Individual membership is $40.00 and family membership is $50.00.  Special Senior discounts are available.

Alternative ways you can contribute are to use your company's Employee Matching Grant Program or pledge to the United Way using Donor Option Program Code 1203.  All contributions are tax deductible by law.

Thank you for helping us serve the community.

Please contact us at 412 828-8566 for more information.
