eAudio, eVideo and eBooks

Downloadable Audio Books (eAudio)
Audio books that you listen to on your PC or MP3 player.

Downloadable Videos (eVideo)
Videos that you download and watch on your PC or portable device.

Electronic Books (eBooks): 
Digital full-text versions of books that you read on your computer.
Please note that the eBooks currently in the collection DO NOT work with eReaders such as the Nook, etc.  However in mid-July titles will be available that work with eReaders (with the exception of the Amazon Kindle).  Information about those titles will be given on this web page.

Downloadable Audio Books

The eAudio content is offered both through Overdrive and through NetLibrary. You can download eAudio titles to PCs and compatible portable devices.

To access eAudio titles, you will need:

  • a valid library card from an Allegheny County public library (Monroeville Public Library cardholders must contact their library)
  • access to the Internet.

    NetLibrary: You must set up an account at your local public library to use NetLibrary.  Call the Lauri Ann West Memorial Library reference department at 412-828-9520 ext.15 for help. Visit http://www.netlibrary.com to browse and check out eAudio titles. To learn how to use and for help with the NetLibrary service check out the NetLibrary Guide.
