 Summer Reading Program for Adults

Yes, adults can have a summer reading program too! 
All you need to do is, beginning June 5, click on the summer reading link at the top of this page, and you can register for the program and log the books that you read and also post reviews of books if you want.  If you read 4 books by August 13, you will be entered into a raffle drawing.  You can also stop by the library to register for
summer reading.

Wise Walk:
Library Walking Program

Walking is a great way to keep fit after fifty. Wise Walk is a walking program at the library for those 50 and up that includes free programs about health and fitness.  Those who sign up receive t-shirts and pedometers.  No commitment to a time or a place to walk is required and walkers participate whenever they want and how much they want.

Using Ebooks with the Nook

Coming in August!

Come to the library and learn how you can download ebooks for free to a Nook reader from Barnes and Noble.  The library provides free ebooks that can be used with the Nook.  We'll have light refreshments and a raffle drawing for a gift card.

Rain Barrel Workshop

Thursday, August 19 at 7 p.m.

Learn how to harvest clean rainwater for your yard and garden.  You will learn how to assemble and install a 55-gallon drum/rain barrel, and you'll learn about other rainwater harvesting options.  The cost is $30 per person or $40 per couple and includes all hardware
except for the barrel.
